Mike Gillam is an accomplished investigator with exceptional skills in investigation, communication, and building rapport with individuals from diverse backgrounds. Drawing on his comprehensive training and practical experience in the New Zealand Police, Mike possesses a solid understanding of investigative techniques and human behavioral concepts. His expertise in managing complex criminal and civil cases has consistently led to high levels of client satisfaction, including numerous successful criminal prosecutions and dismissals.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Conducting and overseeing civil, criminal, fraud, and personal investigations for a wide range of clients, including corporations, law firms, and private individuals.
• Meeting with clients to develop investigation plans, including briefing agents on case details.
• Conducting enquiries in sensitive situations, utilising undercover and subterfuge methods when necessary.
• Carrying out surveillance as an individual investigator or as part of a team.
• Locating missing persons, estranged individuals, witnesses, and respondents.
• Interviewing complainants, witnesses, and offenders.
• Gathering intelligence, including leveraging informants.
• Preparing prosecution and complaint files for submission to police and other prosecuting agencies on behalf of clients.
